One of the problems I have come across is that most of the smokers on the market produce too much heat for true cold smoking. The Smoke Daddy is designed not to add any heat to your smoker. I have sold many to people who have attached it to existing smokers with excellent results. If you are looking for a true cold smoker, this is it. It can also be used with a heating element for hot smoking.
These smoke generators are offered in three sizes: Small, Large, and the Big Kahuna. The difference in size also dictates the length of smoking time as well as the amount of smoke produced.
All of the smoke chambers are made from heavy
gauge 6061 aluminum pipe and are machined to assure a proper seal of the
end caps. The top cap also has a wooden knob for safe and easy removal.
The air flow control valve is configured to prevent back pressure to the pump and gives you better control of air
flow. The 2 larger units can be fitted on thin walled smokers or by turning the
outlet tube around. It can be fitted to thicker wall smokers such as a
refrigerator style smokers up to 4” These units work great for hot or cold
smoking. You provide the heat and the meat It will provide the
smoke.
All of Smoke Daddy’s can be refilled at any time during the smoking time with out relighting and will not raise the temperature of your smoker great for cold or hot smoking.
The smoke generator is an excellent aid in the process of creating smoked foods and is not a standalone food preserver.
